The Vienna State Opera's acclaimed production of The Marriage of Figaro goes on tour to Tokyo in October 2025!

This summer, Stephanie makes her debut as Marie in Wagner’s Der fliegende Holländer at the Hyogo Performing Arts Center in Kobe, Japan.

Stephanie's recent portrayal of Herodias in Salome at the Wiener Staatsoper is heralded as "powerful and incisive in appearance, giving this character the right amount of arrogance and malice..." (Wochenblatt)

Stephanie recently made her debut at La Scala in Milan, singing Waltraute in Sir David McVicar's critically-acclaimed production of Die Walküre.

A new CD celebrates Paul Hindemith's 130th birthday! Capriccio Records to release a live recording of the Wiener Staatoper's acclaimed Cardillac production. With Tomasz Konieczny, Vera-Lotte Boecker, Wolfgang Bankl, Herbert Lippert and Stephanie Houtzeel. Available February, 2026.
